Tony Babcock is an ambitious young actor currently living in Toronto Ontario. Tony began acting on stage at the age of nine in Kingston Ontario and immediately fell in love with performing. He appeared in more than twenty productions including; "THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST " (Algernon), “A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM ”(Nick Bottom), “LOST IN YONKERS ” (Arty),“LEADER OF THE PACK ” (Gus) and "RECENSIO: A LIGHT AND DARK SHOW " (Sammy).

Tony was a part of the THEATRE COMPLETE Focus Program, learning mask, monologue, show touring, mime, clown, and voicework. He also
trained with THEATRE FIVE ACTING SCHOOL.

Recently, Tony has been seen on many television networks and tv shows including, "THE TOTALLY UNTRUE HISTORY OF...BEYONCE " (Much Music), "MTV'S DATE MY PLAYLIST " (MTV Canada), "FINAL 24 JANIS JOPLIN " (E! Network, and Global), "UNDERWORLD MIAMI " (History Television/National Geographic) and "TRUE VAMPIRES " (The Discovery Channel).

Tony has acted in many independent films including; "A TORMENTED ILLUSION ", "DONORS" (a film screened at the New York City Film Festival), "IN HER SLEEP: THE NIGHT TERROR " and "TRIGGERS".

Tony is a student at "THE SECOND CITY ", and is a member of the hit improv group "THE CANADIAN IMPROV SHOWCASE ". He is also signed with The ROSE GROUP Talent Management Ltd., and is a regular acting coach for "The MILTON YOUTH THEATRE PRODUCTIONS ". Tony's voice can also be heard every summer at the Canadian National Exhibition's CAMP CNE, playing Quackers the Duck.

Most Recently, Tony acted in the pilot "CHURCH AND STATE ", and in the brand new web series "PLAYING THE GAME " (premiering in January), playing a series lead in both. Look for him soon in "NOTHING'S ON - IMPROV SHOW", and another episode of "TOTALLY UNTRUE HISTORY OF.."

Besides acting, Tony is a brown belt in Karate, enjoys cooking, and playing the piano.
